Time is running out. Google announced the sunset of Universal Analytics by July 1, 2023, which means you’ll no longer be able to track new data if you’re sticking with UA. Migrating to GA4 is the smart move if you are passionate about analytics, data tracking, and measurement.
Here are some compelling reasons to make the switch now:
GA4 is the latest version of Google Analytics, which is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. It includes new features such as enhanced data governance, data visualization, and machine learning-based insights. It also includes new capabilities such as cross-device tracking, cross-property tracking, and measurement of app and web data in a single platform.
If you do not switch to GA4, your website will continue to use the previous version of Google Analytics (GA3). However, Google has announced that it will sunset the GA3 version on 1st of July 2023, so it is recommended to switch to GA4 to ensure that you can continue to use Google Analytics to track and analyze your website data. Additionally, you may miss out on new features and capabilities that are available in GA4, such as cross-device tracking and machine learning-based insights.
All standard Universal Analytics properties will stop processing new hits on July 1, 2023. 360 Universal Analytics properties will stop processing new hits on July 1, 2024.

It will eventually sunset the previous version of GA, so it is recommended to switch to GA4 to ensure access to these features and capabilities.
